EGR replacing

What would you guys recomend replacing when taking the intake manifold off? Apparently there is no other way to replace my egr valve. So far i need to replace manifold gaskets, egr, egr temp sensor and, pcv. Anything else you guys would recomend replacing?

I would replace all of the vacuum hoses under the manifold and maybe clean out your throttle body and IACV. After years of being exposed to all the heat from the engine they become hard and very brittle. I broke two hoses taking my manifold off a few months ago. You can get all the hoses from the dealer, but they are pretty spendy. I know some people just buy a few feet of the right size vacuum hose from an auto parts store. While I had my manifold off I completely cleaned out the inside and polished the outside with some very fine steel wool. It looks like brand new inside and out now. How many miles on your car? Have you replaced your knock sensors before?

I have 93000 miles on it and i dont think i have replaced the knock sensors. So far my list is l00king like this. Change all the vacuum lines, clean throttle body and IACV, clean up the manifold, change EGR, EGR temp sensor, PCV, knock sensors and change my maniofld gaskets. Anything else i should do before i start ordering parts?

That list looks good to me. I had just mentioned the knock sensors because they are much easier to change with the manifold off.

in the few years that i have been watching this thread i have seen very few complants about the cam and crank sensors so no... besides you dont need to remove any thing to replace them when they do fail
