Leather seat covers installation

Hi guys,

I purchased a full leather interior for my SVX L (2 tone dark charcoal/light charcoal). I did the passenger seat and I was moving on to the driver's. I have a slight problem: I can't seem to find a way to remove the height adjusters (rubberish wheels) from the side... does someone have a clue? I tried to remove the center part as if it was a cap, but it wont come off.

You talking about the manual seat and not the power seat. Right?

I was gonna hold my tongue, but, couldn't let it pass.

John, clues:

SVX L
Rubberish Wheels

I know you know your SVXes better'n 'at. :D

If John doesn't figure it out for you. Turbo, I'll take a gander at my manuals tonight when I get home.

Thanx Aredubjay. But I finally (after kinna breaking one) found out how to remove them. You have to ply the plastic trim, compress it against the seat with a screwdriver (or whatever fits there). You then discover a shiny (mine was) metal clip that you just pull and then take the wheels off. I started doing the rear today, but the front seats are done. Take a look.

Very nice. Did you get the skins from Dayle? I sure wish you could get the foam for the seats, also.

Perhaps, if I ever re-cover my seats (in the evil twin. "Patience's" seats are fine), I could use chunk foam and a hotwire cutter to create the foams. Maybe I'll just use fiberfil. :D
