Nice SVX find in Norway
 

I already mentioned this in tech q & a but here's the non technical story:

I just reread this morning a silly SVX article in a local online car mag and checked out the comments just to see if anything new had come. Actually, there had! Someone asked to come into contact wth me and I left my details. Later I got mail :)

About 2 months ago he bought a non road worthy car in Oslo, very very cheap. I think this is a 92 model and originally sold in Norway (which means it's VTD). The registered VIN does not compute anywhere due to a checksum error but he'll check out the plaque in the engine room tomorrow. It had brakes and trans issues and had probably been standing for about 5 years. Prior to this, it had been a company car for an architect office and has about 270' km on it. Regular services and thorough maintainance all around.

He got the car back to road worthyness but the trans issue remains (see tech thread).

However, he also got a 6 volume original service manual! He got original roof racks but no fastener brackets. He got the original sales brochure.

All in all, a very nice find. He didn't seem to keen on the forum but maybe he'll come around at some point :)

EDIT: The colour code was 222, 'Grey metallic'

Nice so he also live in Oslo?
To bad he have trans issues. Is this the car that have been for sale in Oslo before? :)

He lives down in Mysen, it's close enough.

And yes, this is the car that was offered on Finn.no some time back.

I like that colour Jetboy.

My friend John in Scotland has a car that colour, it's one of the nicest cars in the UK.
