Quiet

Boy, it sure is quiet in the NW. I guess the snow has something to do with it. I have been having some fun in it. :) :) :)

Boy Im sure not having any fun in it. 15 inches is too much for my taste, plus the fact that the roads havent been kept clear, it sucks to say the least. Ive about had it with this weather. Ive been missing work... at a time when its not that good to be missing it. Ive got my car stuck a few times... Yeah, not my idea of fun. I never had the chance to take an SVX in the snow, but from the conditions here, no one is fairing well, no matter what they are driving.

The SVX is great in the snow. My outback is great fun. I have not even come close to getting stuck even on hills that others can't make it up. I love Subaru. :)

The managers at our apartment complex, were pounding on everyones doors this morning saying move our cars now, that the carports were collapsing. Well right as we got our cars moved out, this one right behind us, collapsed. There are many of them doing this. Im tired of this, I wish it would end.... Its snowing again

Was there any damage to any of the cars? I mean, and noticable damage? Who is paying for it? Certainly not the car insurance company?

Im not sure, I didnt really look at any of the cars. And I dont know who is paying for it... I got mine out in time, so I didnt ask. Those two under the one in the pic, are my neighbors cars.

Well, I hate to say it but..........I've been having a blast :p
Sorry if some of you are having a difficult time :(
My SVX isnt my DD and right now its down because I cant afford a new battery for it atm.
But my RX is my DD and I have my Hankook iPikes mounted.
Once I lock the center diff, the car is unstoppable. I even went upp to higher ground (Evans Creek ORV) to find deeper snow last wek.

And yes, carports every where are coming down. I'm pretty sure the property owners will have insurance for it.

My Outback has been unstoppable as well. I love it as a snowmobile. I was even pushing snow with the bumper in some of the places I went with it. :)

Second that.

We bought our Outback eight years ago. In all that time, the car has only briefly seen snow; once on a trip to Leavenworth when I had to take to the side streets to find some snow on the road surface and once or twice to drive in a bit of snow from Mary Avenue to 15th Street... which was gone by the time I returned. This week, finally, we have the conditions which we had in mind when we bought it, and the car has earned its stripes. Not only getting me around to everywhere I needed to be but also ferrying friends and doing grocery runs for my mother.

Last night, bringing a friend home from work, I turned off Aurora, heading west up the 105th hill. Because of the 6-block backup of cars waiting for the light at Greenwood, I took to the side streets and aimed the Trusty Outback up the hill on a snowy side street packed down by other cars and frozen for several days. I have wondered at times this week which situation I might put the car into that would finally result in it spinning all four wheels helplessly, but it has delivered the goods, every time.

I aimed its nose up the hill and the all wheel drive performed again, just as advertised.

Not to be off topic dj, but I just noticed your sig again and I couldve sworn you had an 09 focus. Maybe I'm mistaken. Put snow tires on it!
