New Radiator ARRIVIED

I came home from work to find my new radiator from Car Parts Warehouse.
The box came marked with Silla. I will take picks tonight but so far all looks good.

The ones I have seen seem to be good. Let us know how it goes. :)

I GET MINE TOMORROW!!! :D :D :D

UPS tracking says so. Just a real quick question, when I unhooked all the hoses attached to the radiator, two of them spit out red ATF instead of green coolant. Does this mean I'll have to add a little more fluid to the transmission too?

I have just removed my radiator to have the top tank replaced in metal and know what you are referring to. I doubt that the small amount of fluid lost from the transmission cooler section will cause a problem, but you certainly should check the level as a precaution.

I was thinking about flushing my tranny fluid and was wondering if I could use this hose to clear the fluid out of the tranny?

1. I'd drop the pan, clean it, and change the filter.
2. Fill it and then turn the engine over with the rad hose going into a bucket. Stop and refill several times until the fluid looks new.

Or, I could mark several pints in a bucket and stop when I get to the line.

Would there be any potential danger to the tranny doing this?

Greg
