Updated Stage 3

I was just checking out your site Mike and saw that there's a new stage 3 coming. Looks pretty interesting, but I take it you are doing away with the supercharger package and just sticking to the management upgrade and engine internals?

twin intakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

http://ecutune.com/svx-stage3.htm so people don't have to look.

Summary: Twin intakes, dual Z32 MAF's, and the NISMO 740cc's. Support for 1000 crank HP. Due Q1 2008.

I think it sounds more like a bigger version of Stage 2, a more advanced engine management system. With the blower showing some limits I don't know if that will be part of the system.

We'll probably get more details from Mike when he's doing better.

Yes, but it can be used in conjunction WITH the blower... :D

Oooooh, ooooh *raises hand* pick me, pick me!!

Two........turbos?

Mmmmmmmm.

Two bad the supercharger setup is going, but I think he realized that it had it's own limitations. I think this new twin intake could really open the floodgates. I also wouldn't mind being in line to purchase one. I was planning on upgrading to 2v7, but I think I just may go to stage 3 now.

Any estimate on price mike? :D

:lol:LOL.... Like he is going to say anything until it is done.....:lol:

Sounds interesting and complicated. Will be reading up on this. Good luck at any rate.

It hasen't even been mentioned if the new stage 3 will run on an N/A car though.

Twin turbo's was not gonna be part of my build, so depending on cost/layout/function with single turbo; this may be over-kill for alot of peoples builds.

It very well may be overkill for more than a few applications, but if someone (say, oh...me) was wanting to upgrade from a 1v5 to a 2v7, I would almost think that this would be a worthwhile upgrade instead as both will be additional cost anyways. Plus, this way later on the floodgates will be wide open for additional modifications.

However, like you say, it is yet unconfirmed if the new stage 3 will work N/A.

Here's hopin'!

Is that about a specific car or was he talking as all stage 3 cars will be like that?

I just want to know about the twin intakes and dual Z32's.......

Nevin 04-30-2008 07:42 PM

Any updates on stage III?

Just curious if anyone's heard anything.
