That looks like a photo from the Safari Rally in Kenya. When the Impreza WRC's nose hits the ground hard, dust flies up through that cooling duct. Pretty cool to see in motion, actually.

I saw some of the New Zealand Rally this weekend. Richard Burns (won the drivers' championship last year with Subaru) was leading the rally on day 2 until he flipped the car right off the road. Two other drivers did the same on that day, as well.

Makinen finished on the podium, finally. That poor guy has had some really bad luck this year - but some of it has been his fault. He keeps wrecking the car.

i don't understand all the rules, but i like watching WRC on the NASCAR, i mean, Speed Channel from time to time.

Lol, yeah, but at least they still have stuff like WRC and F1...you can still see quite a variety on the channel - you just have to look at odd times...
