know of a good place to buy car audio equiptment online?
 

I'm looking for something to hook my ipod up to my car, and have it pretty much narrowed down to the alpine cda-9851 and the kca-420i. I've been to the only shops in town that carry alpine and they are both sold out of everything :rolleyes:

so does anyone know a good site online to get car stereo stuff? -thanks.

oh, and does anyone have any reviews good/bad about alpine headunits or this one in general? Over on nabisco i've heard a lot of good things about alpine so thats why i'm leaning that way.

Go with ebay. I got a Kenwood deck for $150 shipped that was selling on Crutchfield for $275.

I really like Crutchfield, and have done alot of business with them in the past, but you just can't beat ebay for prices. What I did was find what I wanted on Crutchfield, then typed in the model # in ebay.

I wanna buy a sub for the trunk....anyone got any suggestions ?

Go to an audio shop and listen to them. Find the one you want, then ebay it.

Get it in a coustom box too Q-logic boxes sound like absoloute CRAP in our trunks

Our trunks have a lot of sound deadening...

With my back seat down my sub hits just as hard if not harder then any of my friends, but put that seat up and sometimes I can't even tell if the sub is on or not.
