Video Reference Books
 

On eBay at the moment, there are a number of "reference booklets" - I managed to successfully bid on the aircon one but now there are a few others.

However, I was looking closely at the pictures of the booklets and it seems to say "video reference". I also seem to remember some time ago mention made of a booklet that accompanied the owners video and that was to be read in conjucntion with it.

Any comments????

I looked at that too. It's the book that accompanied the technical training video. Everything that is in those books is in the video and vice versa.

DAMMIT MAN! Save your money for the genuine article. It's kinda like buying up a bunch of Playboy Magazines and not haveing a physical presence on which to unleash your stored up energies. You're merely torturing yourself. :D

A technical training video???

I was thinking of the owners video - the one with that well-dressed man in the sports coat (very 80's!!!)

Does that mean that there is another video floating around???

Yes, several hundreds of various videos collect over the years on all kinds of topics. And Subaru sends them out to the dealers as required tools, so you get 'em whether you want them or not.

There was more than one technical video on the SVX?

Well....there becomes another addition to this never-ending crusade!

I *may* be able to help in your crusade. I'm going to have to call Leo at CDA Subaru this morning to change my wife's oil change appointment and I'm just going to ask if he wouldn't mind donating them there videos to me. They're most likely buried under two inches of dust now anyhow. I'll let you know what I come up with.;)

That would be great! The bidding on the Tech Spec manual on eBay has gone nuts so the video options would be fantastic!

Well, seems they demoted Leo to salesman, and the new guy doesn't know me nor my wife, so it was a no-go on the videos. Sorry.:(

Oh well..thanks for trying though!

Perhaps the succesful bidder will scan the articles in and at least we can access those!
