Wow, that actually looks really good. Looks like it would be a little fun too!

I was reading articles about that car, he started the fabrication in Aug, 2005.
He is a university guy, car designer, who took it as a Major project with which he is gonna graduate. It costed him $60,000. All of its parts were manufactured entirely in Lebanon except the Engine/Drivetrain. The rest from steering system, suspension, headlights, taillights, glass, etc... is purely fabricated back home. Currently it is using a 200hp engine. It was actually registered in our DMV and found road legal. I think the next steps, he is gonna work on the engine and drivetrain, he might be developing also the first engine that will be fabbed inhouse. Well I won't be surprised, because last time I was there, I was really shocked to see the NEW potential of our market... The official presentation of that car is going to be attended my ministers and deputies from our Gov. But I think there will be a media presentation of it in 1.5 hours now, it is on LBCI or LBC (which ever you can see from over there...) I will also post the pics of its steering wheel... that thing is NUTS!! P.S: I think I could have done a slightly better job on the nose of that car... |
Okay....a custom fiberglass body, a beefy tube chassis.....But what kind of motor!!?

Re: Look What This Guy DID!!
...its still cool!
I've always wanted to build some dream all the way up from scratch. I was following a guy here in the states for a while... he called it "The Buck" and tracked the whole thing online. He eventually gave up on the project... after he DID all the HARD work, and gave it away for someone else to finish. Never resurfaced. |

Your guy has a lot of imagination! We are spread out over 5 projects right now. I want to get busy on the GT40 this winter. I want to replace the rusty frame and interior and use the body kit to 'create' a 'formula 1' kinda thing that I can drive to work. Have you checked out my photobucket?? I was at the shop tonight but forgot the camera! Bro has made MAJOR strides on the 41 Chevy P/U! This is TRULY a "Silk Purse from a Sow's ear" kinda saga! If we can save JUNK like this, creating 'NEW' stuff couldn't be a big problem! |
