what are these random parts?
 

here is a pic of a few items I got with the car when I got it. What are they and what do they do. I know the one in the background is a TCU but what about the others? The black box is a door lock timer...what does that do?

i mean, does it drive?..maybe these are some spare parts the previous owner had?

The second pic (fuel pump modulator) and the silver box with white wires (fuel pump resisitor) are under the rear deck between the speakers, they control the fuel pump.

The door lock timer dims the lights and also send signals to the stock alarm system, I'm sure it does other things.

I can't think what the others are?? Why not rip the interior out of yours, match up the boxes, yank the wire then see what doesn't work??

TCU is the one with the gold colored integrated bracket. Other could be the ECU, but can't be certain based on the picture.

It's about the right size for the ECU, but not enough connections.

The "301..." box? I thought that was a single connector in the center of it?? Matty, care to enlighten us?

these are spares that came with the car. ;) they do not contain part numbers so that is why I put the pic up.

3 and 4 are not ECU's cause I have one of them and I know what it looks like.

6 = Tran Resistor (located behind battery)

nope. I just bought a trans resistor (the special svxfiles one) and it is not that thing.

actually it is from the boro of Cressona. It is a list of all the illegally parked vehicles in the boro. You name came up on a few of those :lol:
