Seat Belt......rattle
 

Has anyone had a seat belt go bad? I would expect NOT, but I have evidently had one go bad....

My son (11) got the seat belt jammed....I thot it was just tisted and stuck....but it wasn't! I took the rear passenger seat belt unit out...fiddled with it....noticed it had something like ball bearings inside as part of the locking mechanism...suddenly started working (retracting) again....so, put it back together!

It seems to work (without locking in extended positions), but MAKES AN HORRENDOUS VIBRATING/RATTLING NOISE, especially at certain higher speeds!

ANYONE hear of or experience THIS? :confused:
