alternative uses for ash tray

Never used the ash tray except to hold some coins. Thinking that it might be a good place to add some aux switches but open to all suggestions. What has been done in this space?

I used it for my power mode switch when my car was automatic, but don't have any accessories I want steath switches for right now. Sub controller if you have a sound system maybe?

I put my transmission temperature gauge where the cigarette lighter was, and then put a 12 volt outlet in the ashtray.
