renew or replace headlamp
 
my plastic head lights are getting vague by sunlight over 17 years,might not pass the warrant of fittness test,next time,,any one has any suggestion??or anyone know a second hand replacement in new zealand?thanks..

what is the problem? Are they yellow, or just frosty? You can use some plastic polish and they look almost new. There are several threads about it. Use the search feature to find them. Good luck. :)

my ones on my jdm svx was pretty bad it still pasted an wof fine.
when i had plan to sell it i just used some mothers mag wheel polish on it. made it nice an clear again.
new glass head lamps will cost you NZ $900.00s each. pretty dare

thanks,the wof was fine this time,but the guy at drivesure wof in brownbay,northshore,said he will failed me for the dim plastic headlight next time,so i need to polish it up before next wof in 6 months,,thanks...i'lltry the mother polish too...4 years ago,i had someone to polish it for 60dollars,using polish from the states,he just polish on the outside of the lights,,...it clear allright...but i'm thinking about one off solution..thanks..

Hey I'm at Torbay - also have plastic polish that I have used on a buddys headlights - if you want to come over sometime we can try on yours.
