Tranny Problem/Question/Concern
 

Heres whats going on.
This just started a few days ago ;(

Every once in awhile, when in slow traffic... shifting from 1st to
2nd, its like a brake band problem, reves up, then goes into 2nd.

However, if im going faster, not flooring it, but mid range accel... it doesnt happen.

Does this sound like a brake ban problem... or early signs of
tranny problems.

over 135k on tranny, never replaced! <--- i think im doing good so far?!?!?!?

this is the infamous problem we refer to as "tranny flare"

Mine started at 100k and with the resistor unplugged the tranny lasted another 50k. Had I known enough to do a brake band adjustment on that one it might still be running.

Had the flare on the wife's tranny back in march - adjusted brake band and haven't had it since.

ok... so tighten it all the way down... then back Then back off three full turns (360)

anyone have pics of where this is located, what im going to need, etc.

I dont have a garage ;( so im going to be working in the street lol.
