Damaged 1995 LSI Black

Insurance company finally agreed to the claim after 6 months. If they give me $ and take possession of the car I will tell them to offer its parts to everyone here. Or if they give it to me I may part it out myself.

Hood is damaged and it needs frame straightening or a new front right A frame and few control arms and rods. Guy in Eugene Oregon offered me the A frame, but I am not a welder.

Engine runs great, tranny is fine. Body is in great shape (sans hood), New windshield and other glass is fine. ALT is not too old.

Will update when car is ready.

Photos would be helpful. Do you have an asking price in mind?

Price and Photos

Hi there. Once the insurance co. tells me that they think its worth if they will give it to me I'll post an asking price.

In the meantime PM me your email address and I will send you photos. I have more than twenty. I will also attempt to post a photobucket URL here too for all to see so people know exaclty what they are getting.

Feel free to request specific photos from me as well if what I have is not good enough.

confused

so are you parting this car out if you get it or selling it as a whole? im confused because it sounds like your selling it as a whole, but its in the parts section.

just need some clarification. thanks!

Shame to part this car with only that damage... :o

I have to wait and see what insurance guys say. One shop said $6000 to straighten the frame and get it back to normal. So if insurance co. wants to resurrect her I am all game.

If they want to declare it a loss and not give/sell it back to me I want everyone here to get her parts. Whether that is parting out or one time unit purchase I do not yet know.

Re: Damaged 1995 LSI Black

Damn good news. I got $5210 from the insurance co. Which is actual NADA and KBB value for a 95 LSI with 124K. They tell me it will be auctioned off to salvage companies but I am attempting to have everyone here have first crack. Will advise...

UPDATE
Below is the information on the salvage company. I don't know when the vehicle will be ready to be sold, as the title will need to be processed.
Interested parties here can contact Copart and reference lot#12443818. Good luck to all of you and take care of my baby's soul.
