rear inside cv boot
 

Has anyone rebooted the rear inside CV joint on the back axle? It looks different than all the rest, size wise, and I'm a bit nervous to tear it apart. Tech info is a little thin on these cars as I'm sure we've all noticed. If I could find a reasonable deal on a whole new axle I would do that but $380 to the dealer is beyond my budget.

BTW thanks for all the posts on transmission problems, Ive learned a ton just by reading along. My '92 goes in for tranny #5 after the holiday. Proof to me that I'm still fond of this car to stick with it into it's 5th transmission.
