as you can see i got the pic from 92svxchick's locker, but is that a regular stock japanese svx? I would really like to get my car painted to that color, would that be possible? And those rims are exactly what i have been lookikng for. Anyone know which type of rims they are? Thanks in advance

That is not a US Specs SVX. I could be JDM or Euro version. From the looks of it, it has aftermarket rims and an aftermarket nosejob. The colour is could be one of the followings that we (US) did not get: emeral blue mica, blue mica or peacock blue mica.

Are there any pics of svx's with the colors you just mentioned lwin? I haven't seen or heard of these colors, this is a first for me

Did UK-spec SVXs get the Alcyone badge? I don't think they did. I'm guessing that's a JDM SVX, unless they swapped badges.

The front bumper cover looks stock, but with a chin spoiler tacked on. I'm guessing that it doesn't make oil changes any easier. :)

I dig the chin spoiler, but not necessarily on the car. First of all, I think it makes the car look front-heavy. Second, the lines in front of the wheel well don't match those behind it.

Nick,

Your calendar will be shipped out on Monday. I'd look at the bumper on the Oct. page. We assumed that was an US specs. prototype and probably smashed now. What I'd do to take a hold of that bumper....

Back on topic

The mica blue, peacock blues are the JDM colours. I just heard of them from my JDM contact the other day when I asked him for the mirrors.

Kel,

He's holding out until you send him the purple sequined clutch bag and stilleto heeled pumps that match the prom dress.

Where can you get the clear headlight covers like that? (not the clear corners the one towards the middle)

Thats the 'Exclusive Evolution' bodykitted one from Japan - I thought they were all black cars (at least all the ones they used on their site were as far as I can remember).

It looks like a highly polished car but would also suspect that the gloss is 'heightened' with photoshop or such like

Hmm, the side doesn't look blue, only the front (and the front of the side view mirror). Could they have just parked a shiny black one in front of something blue? It looks like there's a building and the sky reflected in the hood. The hood doesn't look anymore blue than the glass.

Hey,

My blue comment could be wrong too.

CopsodyX 12-20-2002 08:04 PM

That is one of the most gorgeous SVXs i've ever seen, except for the chin spoiler thing. Yah, that needs to go...and I really like the rear spoiler-less look.

I saw a reference to clear headlights at http://www.smallcar.com but no details, may require an email to get details.

Thus JDM or Euro or Aussie version. But as James pointed out, that is a JDM SVX with an added chin.
