Day 20 -- And Counting
 

When I dropped my car off, 20 days ago, I said, "It won't be 24 days before I get it back this time, will it?" "I hope not" was the reply. Looks like hopes may be dashed.

Interestingly enough, the last time, 11 days of my 24 day wait was for a part to arrive. This time, we've not had to wait for parts.

I am slightly calmer now that I have been, although, with two, absolutely gorgeous days this weekend, I would occasionally forget that my car was not in the driveway, and think of things to do -- the 5-step Meguiar's treatment -- the swapping of the stereos with the spare stock unit I bought -- doing an engine bay clean-up -- various other sundries -- but I would soon remember that, what was sitting in my driveway, was not what I wanted to be there.

Oh, and here's the good news: we're expecting two inches of snow tonight. Wouldn't you know it.

Meanwhile, there wasn't even a guess as to when they'd be done with my car when I left them Friday. I'm being patient.

They've had it for 20 days and they're not waiting for parts? So then, they've been working on it all this time? At how much per hour? You'll be paying for a Maserati by the time you get it back.

I hope they honor that way-out-of-date warrenty for you, randy. Man. They better, or im gonna beat them up.

Mike, If you need a hand I would be more than happy to help. Do you mind driving us there though seeing as how mine doesn't even have a bumper, side mirror, or front grill on it at the moment :)
