look in my locker. It's called KC clip. The KC system used Magnaflow mufflers. Mine has a Dynomax resonator, but that didn't change the sound much, just made it a little quieter. Mine is 2.5" into y pipe into 2 KC mufflers. Not sure what model, but I could probably find out if necessary.

I did a Magnaflow

1 Attachment(s)
on a few of my cars, every person car guy or not
who ever heard it says its very Porsche sounding..
and not too loud if you keep your resonator.
Serious, the mufflers only about $100, if you dont like
it you swap it and sell it for something else.....
Stainless add more $, prices may vary :) :)
except for at Motorsport whse ...hehe

I have true duel magnaflows on mine and like the sound (much better than the flowmasters I had on it) The only thing is that every time I let of the throttle and get back on it or shift gears it pops out the exaust, anyone else have this prob with other exaust systems?

Sorry for the OT question but it's not really.

All engines will do that between shifts, how well you
muffle it depends on how much youll hear or how loud
it will be. Meaning, if you have taken off your pre cats and
or removed your resonator, the noise your are describing
will just be more noticeable.
I stuck with the single pipe, but new cat, resonator and single
inlet, dual outlet Magnaflow.....and never had that sound
even on my 5 spd car.

Ya, I do have cats and resonators on it but I think my use of overkill sized 2 1/4" pipe has something to do with it. It's just that the other day when I was screwing around with my TPS and adjusted it to spec, it made it idle at like 1,100 RPM's and and when it did that it never popped out the exaust but I had to make it idle right again so the popping came back.

I'm not sure what my point is, I can live with it and I know a lot of other cars do it to, it just bugs me sometimes.

I really think you could make more HP and MUCH more
torque if you went down to dual 2" piping from
the manifolds back.
For ex: A Mustang 5.0 comes with 2.25" from
the factory. 5.0 vs 3.3.... its pretty straight forward.
Bigger isnt always better

I know, I know, but it seemed like a good idea at the time. I could always add on that supercharger I'v always wanted and make it all worth it!
