Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3
 

I just picked up TXR3, and first off I was a bit disapointed. I thought they would have improved the game play over TXR0. But more importantly, one of the cars you can buy to start the game is a XT Turbo. I saw Alcyone and got all excited, but it's a XT version, not the SVX version. The XT looks great so any die hard XT owners with a PS2 might like to pick it up.

Hey Shark is there a car after the Skyline? I'm around race 84 or so. I have the Impreza, is there a WRX also?

it gets VERY hard after 84 or so. nope - you'll win some tricked out Skylines for the 'Arcade racing', but no new models. there is just the Impreza, which you can turbo and put WRX/STi appearance parts on it, but no 'WRX.' same with the Lancer - there's no 'EVO'. i'm not at the very end, so maybe there's a surprise? who knows.

i hung on to the Impreza as long as i could, but for some races you need the Skyline, and for some i used the RX-7.

I tried a few of the cars as there really isn't much of a penalty for switching. Suprisingly, I seem to do the best with the Acura RSX. Go figure.
