The whole title issue would scare me away. The car looks clean except for the blurry engine bay photo is near useless. You can barely tell the battery is not strapped down.

i sure miss my claret. :(

immortal_suby 09-06-2006 06:11 PM

That is blatant svx abuse.
I like the 16" wheels in front and 17" wheels in back.
My head hurts from the broken caps lock, spelling, and grammar errors. Looking at some of the other auctions by this person she is clearly brain damaged.

^^^^^^we have a winnah!^^^^^^^ and she wonders why the transmission is giving out!!!

I think I know who's car that is and they may be a member on here!

HAZEL is that your car???

I do believe the source of your trans issues to have been caused by those wheels  . Other than that it looks great. I'll be talking to your husband friday I hope and with any luck I'll remember this.

I actually kinda like the seats... looks sharp.

svxistentialist 09-07-2006 07:36 AM

I like them too, looks a professional job.

The different size wheels front and rear is a serious issue.

It's also stated as a respray "all over" in Claret, but the roof and trunk lid are still black.

The rear spoiler painted claret looks good, I like that as well.

That would cause excessive wear to the transfer clutch, but not the rest of the transmission. It could be argued that the transfer clutch could have slipped enough to overheat the transmission, damaging it and causing it to slip, but I think that's really unlikely.

What gets me is the contention that it 'only slips occasionally' - as if that tells the buyer that it's 'only a little bad.' No, numbnuts, it tells us the damage is already done and the thing's probably on it's last legs. :p

 not sure if I need to reply to that.

and yes, it does sound decieving... but she has told you what she knows and if your the type of person that runs out and buys a car with a tranny that is known to slip then you deserve to or know what you're getting into.

Personally I read that as it will need some tranny work, but at least you can drive it home.

Just to be clear, I wasn't calling you 'numbnuts' - I was referring to the seller. :)
