Insomniac

So I still can't sleep. I'm listening to "The Wanton Song" by Zeppelin if anyone cares.

Congrats, I guess. :p

Why go for the cough syrups that are only half alcohol when you can have the real thing?

:D :D :D

My aunt is a doctor, she says "1 part brandy, 1 part lemon juice, 1 pary honey"

Try it some time, it's the perfect cough syrup :)

My old boss used to say "drink a fifth, you'll still be sick, but you won't care :)

Personally, I think drinking does more harm than good when trying to get a good night's sleep. Sure, you fall asleep easily but you also wake up early in the morning feeling tired and restless.

I simply avoid too much caffeine during the day, avoid napping, and take melatonin at night. Works great.

Well last time I tried NyQuil I woke up 2 hours later....I'll try more:) If that doesn't work, then I'll just pull an all nighter and stay up until the right time the next night.

Bastards! :D

Kelli I really am legal. Don't worry. ;)

Alycone 02-22-2004 09:17 PM

The problem with Nyquil is that it has the decongestant pseudoephedrine, a stimulant. The antihistamine knocks you out but the decongestant wakes you up. :(
