HIR 9012 and 9011 bulbs

Group Buy for HIR 9012 and 9011 bulbs.

The 9012 are the same as the 9006 (low beam) and the 9011 are the same as the 9005 (high beam).

I will post pictures that we took the other night, and you can see the difference.

Look at this link to see information about the bulbs.

I will post more information as I get it and put in a deadline for the order as we see what the interest is and then I can also give a firm price. :)

Post name and number of the bulbs you want. Aproximate cost will be $25.00 each.

Here are a comparison of the lights. The set on the far left are Sylvainia Cool Blues (9005 conversions in low beams) Next are the new 9012 low beam in the low beam lights. The next ones are stock lights.

Earl,
How about including an upgraded wiring harness in this group buy? (or have you confirmed that the bulbs won't overstress the stock harness?).
Any comparison to the Sylvania Silverstar bulbs?

HIR bulbs

The HIR bulbs draw the same wattage as stock bulbs.

People sometimes upgrade the wiring harness to get more electrical power reaching the bulbs.

ensteele 01-30-2006 08:33 PM

I talked to the fellow who sells them and he said that you don't need to upgrade the wiring to run these. I have ordered them and they should be here in the next day or so. I had him mail these because of the lack of time to pick them up. I will give my thoughts as soon as I get them. :)

I got the lights yesterday in the mail. I will try them out and get back with the results. :)

I am also putting in my new lights in too. Wanna compare light output pictures? The only difference is that mine takes about a 1/2 second to get to the full brightness once switched on. :D :D :D
