OT - SVX Jr. - new addition to the family
 

With my SVX taking a vacation while I wait for her new engine to arrive, I realized that I need two vehicles for the wife & I. There is at least a three week wait until my second SVX comes to live here, so I had to get a temporary vehicle to get us through the next few weeks.

This will actually make the 5th L body car that I've owned in my lifetime, but the first 4 door L body. One of my 2 door L bodies was a 12.5 second GLHS. Another was a standard Shelby Charger turbo that ran a 13.8 off the showroom floor after bleeding the wastegate line.

Not a one. I did lose a head gasket on the 81 Horizon with a 1.7L but luckily it is a 90 minute job to change the head gasket on a 1.7L

Excellent memory. Yes it was the same motor used in VWs and Audis in the late 70's and early 80's. The rest of my L bodies all had the Chrysler 2.2
