power steering fluid ( i know its ATF)

Is the only way to replace it with a turkey baster? Or is there another way to drain it out. I wanna get the old ATF out of there and replace it with fresh ATF.

You could disconnect the return hose where it connects to the cooler and let it drain from there into a basin beneath the car.

That sounds like a good idea and probably would take less time. My mom has a huge turkey baster...maybe i'll give that a try too :D :D

The hose trick works much better. :)

Anyone got a pic of where this hose is? Is it on the passenger side of the rad or close to it or something?

The hoses go down behind the pass side radiator, the cooler is sandwiched between the radiator and condessor. If you really need a pic, let me know as the race cars is currently just hanging out there. Might wanna remove the radiator to get in there and get the hoses off. Good time to flush that as well.

Replacing that return hose was the first order of business when I got my car, and it was no big deal, even for my clumsy fingers. Just unscrew the clamp at the bottom and let it drain.

Now that I think about it, if your return hose has never been replaced, now's the time. It's the same hose as used for the transmission cooler lines, sold at any parts shop by the foot. Cheap. Buy several feet of it and keep the excess in your trunk in case you ever lose an ATF cooler line while out and about.

Yea im gonna look into getting a new hose because the one i have now kinda leaks a little....not sure if its the o-ring or the hose. My guess would be the o-ring.
