Who's Jerod Shelby? I'm hoping he's one of Carroll's kids or else the "SSC" is probably only going to last until Carroll Shelby finds out about it...
Kick A!! car, by the looks of it....

Why? You can't drive 250 anywhere legally so why does it matter...

Doesn't the SVX have a lower Cd?

IIRC, the SVX is 0.31 with spoiler, 0.29 without. This thing is 0.357.:D

Wow...... Not only is it ridiculously fast, but is is extremely sharp looking too. 2.33 lbs:hp :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

The interior is absolutely horrid, and Im quite sure it has little to no comforts like the Bugatti, and doesnt have quite the same...Over the topness to it. I mean, come on, it doesnt have 4 turbos, awd, and an interior better suited to a bently

Im sorry, but they veyron will always be THE coolest modern supercar. Period

SilverSpear 10-17-2007 12:18 AM

Don't like it...

Couldn't have said it much better myself.

You'd buy the Shelby just because it goes reallllly fast. You'd buy the Veyron because its a f***ing Veyron.

Mr. Pockets 10-17-2007 07:30 AM

You know, I'll agree that how fast it goes wouldn't be much of a draw for me. If you spend that much money on a car, it's going to go really fast; exactly how fast is academic after that. How many of them approach their top speeds, ever, anyway?

I'm sure everybody has their own list they could rattle off, but for the money I'd rather have something else like an EB110 or XJ220.

And that interior really is gross.

TomsSVX 10-17-2007 08:33 AM

yeah really, I mean I didn't even see over 120mph at my last track event... who needs more than double that??

Tom

Landshark 10-17-2007 09:02 AM

for me, acceleration > top speed

Ditto. If I could have any supercar currently on the market, it'd have to be the Atom...And Im not even sure if that counts as a supercar. The car is so basic, and Soooo fast. 0-60 in 2.9 seconds...That's mind blowingly fast. To top it off, its a HELL of a lot cheaper than any italian beasts

porschekiller 10-17-2007 04:37 PM

80 mph slaloms!

only in a caterham/donkervoort

don't forget the sheer adrenaline rush (and poopy pants) as some soccer mom on a cell phone in a Ford Excursion drives right over your Atom.
