p1844 Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor Switch E Circuit
Got this code from the Tribeca twice now. Both times it was on the second leg of a 4.5 hour trip. I checked the ATF and it looked clean. It may have been a tad high but it didn't seem extreme and I had it drained and refilled quite a long time ago with no CEL until now. I monitored the ATF temp and it was running nice and cool, even after a hill climb. It is actually shocking how much cooler that tranny runs compared to the SVX.
So what do you guys think in terms of the logical approach to diagnosing this? Check the sensor first? The wiring? |

Sell it to a blind man.

Why? You want to buy it? Oh wait, that would be a blind dumbass.

- pour a high-end transmission fluid over the sensor
- note it in your sig - report this post - look at front of car and laugh (or cry) |
