Front Strut Top Hat Part Numbers
 

Looked through the forum a few times. Does anyone know where to get the top hat (strut mount and bearing) for the front struts new? What are the part numbers? Also are their any aftermarket replacements that work better with my Koni/Coilover setup? Thanks

Stock part is: 20320PA011 (Both sides, same part, $80 each)

Subaru Dealers have it.

Not sure what the koni's use for top mounts, if they use the stock ones, that is them.

For me the stock mounts are fine with Konis if you use stock diameter springs.

Mine knock - new ones ordered !

I had a ghost knock, couldn't find no matter what I did. Then installed the Konis, cleaned the top hat bearings and repacked them. Now the knock is very noticeable - I used an engineers stethoscope to make sure the sound comes from them. A minuscule play can be felt with a finger tip, but not seen. Minor indeed, but sound is annoying.

There's a tech bulletin on this issue too.

Thanks, that is what I was hearing also. Thought it was the brakes but guess not.
