ASUS P5W DH Deluxe motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo e6400, 2.13 GHz (running at a 2.8 overclock now)
2 Gb Corsair DDR2 RAM
ATI Radeon X1600 Pro
250 Gb HDD
Raidmax Sagitta gaming case

Oh, and the green tubing? Thermaltake Big Water 735 Liquid Cooling system.

This thing ROCKS.

SubaSteevo 12-07-2006 01:53 PM

Nice, now you just need to clean up that messy wiring!

etz bseder 12-07-2006 02:06 PM

I like the liquid cooling unit.

mohrds 12-07-2006 02:37 PM

I had my clear computer case phase back in '91 when it was cool and the lights on the motherboard actually served a purpose :p

;)

Crazy_pilot 12-07-2006 04:54 PM

Ya, the wires are annoying. I'm going to get some wrapping so I can tuck them away. Maybe UV reactive stuff, since I have a UV light in there to make the coolant glow. And I need to upgrade the power supply. 450 watts isn't going to last me much longer.

Better to be a trend setter than a follower, right?

Well, except mine was just sheets of plexiglass glued together to replace the original steel cover

One of these days I'll build a new, pretty computer. I've just been focusing too much on other crap.

That CPU really overpowers the video card!

Crazy_pilot 12-08-2006 11:22 AM

It does. For now. I'm going to be running CrossFire dual video cards soon. mwahahahahha.

Duckie 12-08-2006 12:51 PM

Protip: crossfire is a huge waste, run a single card, and dont put a new one in until direct X 10.

Crazy_pilot 12-08-2006 02:08 PM

I've thought about that, but I don't have the money for a DX10 card. The GeForce 8800 GTX/GTS is a little out of my price range. I'm going to run two decent cards for now, until DX10 is out for a while and affordable models show up on the shelves.

They had computers back in 91? Were those the ones that took up the space of an entire room?
