rear tail lights; tiny issue

I've just replace the water pump, timing belt and all that goes with it, so this question is so very small. The back tail lights seem to hold moisture in them. They look foggy. Is there a fix to this, or is it just insignificant? (let's hope this is all I face for awhile).

Failure of the lens seal to the body of the light is one possibilty. Could dry out the interior and apply a thin bead of silicone.

Take the lenses off and put a hair dryer to the bulb holes to dry it out until you are sure they're dry. Then reinstall and swap the gaskets so they are on opposite sides (or install new gaskets).

You can also drill a very tiny hole at the bottom of the lens.

Try the "search" function....

This topic has been covered several times, with multiple suggestions for getting the moisture out and keeping it out.

Try searching "tail lights condensation fix" or the like.

My fix:

- dry them off
- put silicone on the gasket where it contacts the taillight
- put grease on the gasket where it contacts the body
- reinstall

getting the lenses off

the lenses are impossible to get off without snapping them. any suggestions?

Don't have to remove the lenses, just the entire assembly.

Some people put them in an oven to melt the glue. I used a hot air paint stripper, but it's very difficult not to damage them in the process.
