Wanted aftermarket headers.

Looking to find a set that was made or ones that are rare to find. If I cannot find some I am going to get custom pipes made instead. Thanks!

There are only a few sets around and they're all on cars already. Plus they're all designed for modified engines, not stockers. Why do you want headers?

To be louder and more powerful! I am running a stock Svx y-pipe to my Borla cat-back right now in my swapped LGT and need something better.

Changes in exhaust setups yield little to no power gains on the EG33 unless combined as a supporting modification to head work, standalone EMS, FI, etc.

I hear ya, but the setup I have has a crack in the neck and is rusting away. I am going to mod the engine as well as a tune.

Your manifolds are cracked? I have never heard of that happening on one of these cars before. Its likely you have leaking headpipes, and you can either get them from Stebro or have them custom-made, if you dont go with new/used OEM.

Yea starting to rot away around the exit flange of the last cat. Also around some of the other flanges. Not going oem looking for LT headers and I will pick up a new univeral cat.

All this searching I have done has brought up nothing. I am going to a local fab guy to get them made.

It can be done. The person who owned my car before me, had custom headers made for it along with the stebro. It is one noisy car, seems young guys love the sound of it as I do get a lot of "thumbs up" from young dudes cruising along side to get a better listen.
I personally prefer to just go with the stebro and leave well enough alone as it sounds just perfect with the stebro alone.

My son who I gave my 92 perlie to, loves the sound so he'll be swapping parts with my car soon.

I bet it sounds nice too! I am going to build a header with some advice from other members.
