Alternator allignment should it angle back slightly?

Should the alternator tip or lean back at a slight angle? I can't remember if it always has.

Re: Alternator allignment should it angle back slightly?

The entire engine leans back slightly, so the alternator should also to keep alignment with the drivebelts. As long as its mounted with the bolts inserted, it will assume its natural position.
