Anybody want to buy a diesel Rabbit?
 

I have decided to offer my 'Liquid Silver' Rabbit fer sail!
I need to get close to $2,000 to cover what it cost me to save it from the crusher.

I tried to post on the 'new' classified section, but it didn't work.

It is a 5 speed, 4 door, 81 Rabbit Diesel.
Less than 2,000 miles on the head gasket and timing belt.
I have no idea how many miles are on it because someone put a new/used odometer in it.

It is a 'fun' car. I have not played with it since this afternoon.

Any VW guys here???

My Buddy, Steve ,died and I bought his Jetta diesel from the estate. I need to sell the Rabbit to get some bucks to spend on building Steve's Jetta.
I have been driving the Rabbit for a couple summers.
It needs some 'love', but runs well and is a solid car.

It HATES cold weather, rides like a buckboard, stinks when you start it, but it is a BLAST to drive on a hot summer day!\
My favorite part..... When the fat broad in the red GM 2 door tries to push me down the street, I put it in second and FLOOR it!! It looks like I am burning coal! The black smoke rolls and the fat chick backs off!
I didn't even have to threaten to SHOOT her!!

hahahhahah put one of those fake turbo whistle thingys in and she will think its gunna blow :D

I used to have an 82 Rabbit diesel, man do i miss the 40 MPG that I used to get IN TOWN!!! I want another one, unfortunately I don't have 2 grand :( I hear ya about the smoke cloud, I had a Peugeot 505 that would do the same thing!
