Stereo/Speaker Question
 

Does anyone know if the Phoenix Gold R6.5Coax speakers will fit in the doors of my 93 svx? Or even better how they sound? Here they are- http://www.hifisoundconnection.com/S...id/0/SFV/30046

I think they are 6" speakers in the doors but can't remember its been to long since I have had my svx. I just faintly remeber 6/9's not fitting. but I think I am wrong. some one confirm or deny this for me.

6.5 are supposed to be the size that fits.........although the hole in the door when you remove the factory speakers is around 7.5" I believe. I had to modify the door to make my Pioneer 6.5's fit.....there was at least 1 inch of slop as I tried mounting my speakers.

I recently upgraded my door speakers with 6.5" Boston Acoustics and they fit in perfectly with no modification.
