WTB Black Steering Wheel Shroud
 

I need the plastic steering column shroud for an SVX WITHOUT an airbag. I'm having a heck of a time finding this part! If any European or NZ members know where I might find someone breaking an svx without an airbag, please let me know!

I don't believe that any SVX's were made without airbags.

They were, but were not sold in the US market. :) I have a JDM non airbag steering wheel in my SVX, but it makes contact with the steering column shroud. I'll post pictures when my new computer gets here tomorrow.

On the JDM ones they do... I dont know how you could hook it up on a USDM model though...

Here's the official word on that:

In order for the buttons to actually interface with the radio, you'll need a JDM radio and a JDM "fruit roll up" (otherwise known as a clockspring). Since i've got a nav unit in there already, I didn't bother with that stuff. I found out, though, that I'll still need a JDM clock spring and steering column shroud for everything to fit 100%. Now it makes slight contact with the current shroud. The clock springs are very easy to find. There are 3 on yahoo japan auctions right now. The shroud, on the other hand, is giving me some troubles.
