I just found these manifolds for a "V6 Subaru SVX" so i e-mailed the guy to ask him if the V6 is a JDM only engine? and will the JDM version give me a hp boost?"


this is his reply.....
"The Subaru SVX was a JDM car, Japanese Domestic Market. It was not an American sold vehicle on the open market, any SVX that was sold in the USA by a dealership was done so through ordering directly from Subaru of Japan. SVX cars bought overseas by visiting Americans where shipped by the new owners but customs held the cars till they where converted to left hand drive and equipped for U.S. emissions standards. ...michael"

I just emailed the seller.... Here's what I wrote,


Just so you don't look like an idiot here... The SVX doesn't have a "V-6" engine... It has a 3.3ltr FLAT-6 or "boxer" motor...

Also, the Subaru SVX WAS sold in America from 1991 (as a 1992 model) till 1997. How do I know? I have one... I also have the original window sticker from the dealership where it was sold (in Columbus, OH). Just wanted to let you know that your auction has been linked to the Subaru SVX network (www.Subaru-svx.net) and we are laughing at it. This is probably going to kill the chances of actually selling them, since it is a rare car and nearly all the owners are on the SVX network.

My advice, go to cars-101.com and search the SVX, read about it and THEN post your auction. I promise you'll have better luck then.
