Windshield Wipers
I have a 1995 SVX. The wipers that came with the car when I bought it in January were 23" on the driver's side and 21" on the passenger side. When I went to Pep Boys to get new wipers, the manual for the wiipers said that they syhould be 22" and 20". Does anyone know for sure what the standard wiper size should be for both sides. Thanks. This site has been a life saver for me.

I'll check my manual for sure, when I get home, but, I believe I'm correct, and, someone else will probably chime in before I have time to check. Also, do you have the OE wiper blades? The ones with the little rubber bumper attached to them? |
Wipers
No. The ones that are on the car (23 and 21) don't have rubber bumpers and the ones at Pep Boys (TRICO) certainly don't. Do I need OE? Where do I get them and are they expensive?

About 30 bucks for the pair, plus 7.95 shipping. http://www.subaruparts.com/cart/?pn=86542PA020 They do come with a pair of re-fills. Make sure you STRESS, however that you want the OE blades with the rubber bumpers. No, I don't guess you "NEED" OE, but, the bumpers rest nicely on the rubber stoppers on the cowling. :) |

And just to complete the set, the rear is an eighteen. BOBB

Does anyone have a picture of these bumpers?

Hey! How's #80 doing? #81 is sitting the winter out in a garage. ;)

Hey Mike! Thanks. #80 is doing well. I just took her for NJ inspection and she passed with flying colors...good until 2005. Besides the wipers, I just took off the mismatched tires and replaced them with four new Yokohama AVS db2's...the latest model. They were computer balanced. However, I am getting a vibration at 60-67mph. This was the case with the old tires. Any suggestiions? Also, when I depress the rear defroster button, it lights and stays depressed as it should. However, it doesn't appear to be defrosting the rear window one bit. Is there something I should be looking for? Thanks for the help and I will make sure it is EMERALD GREEN.
