tune up

Has anyone here had a tune up done on their svx, and how much did it cost? I'm about to reach the century mark on my odometer.

tune up...

I recently had a tune up done at my local mechanic. Figuring in labor at about $70 to $80 an hour the total came to about $450. The mechanic replaced my plugs, fuel and air filters, and checked the ignition system. I had previously had the serpentine belt done at a cost of about $250. The plugs ran me about $28 a piece. From what I am hearing that might have been a bit much. Most of the cost came from labor. I was told the plugs were a pain in the rear to get out.

tranny fluid...

No..they didnt check the fluid because I just had the transmission rebuilt at that same shop. I had asked them to do so prior the that and it was going to be a seperate job from what they were doing at the time.
