Flatt intake

Wow! I just visited the Flatt racing site for the first time! Has anyone here visited it? Click on the SVX link and check out the air intake from flatt it is amazingly cool looking! (see next post for pic)

Actually I am more curious as to what the Flatt Engine Control Unit does.

Probably nothing... (on USDM svx's ;))

There was a short discussion about the Flatt intake on Nabisco.

:eek: You'd probably get much better performance from a custom modded Ebay intake than that one, and for way cheaper.

On another note, that 'muffler' may be needed to help keep horsepower in check from not allowing the sound resonance from the engine to interfere with the incoming air flow. Dyno results or track results would help.
