Cage
You do not need to "CUT" the cage. The back end of the cage is held in by four "SPOT WELDS". Just take a drill and drill out the "SPOT WELD's" using a drill and drill bits. Start by using a small one and then prgogressively use bigger ones to drill out until the hole is bigger than the weld. Do it on all four until the back end comes off. This method makes for a cleaner and more professional install.

{Bump}
I've just received another batch of parts, so the harnesses are still available. |
Just a bump to see if these harnesses, Stock SVX connector to open pigtails, are still available?
|
Both the WRX reverse and SVX "forward" harnesses are still available.
I'm now also offering shipping via USPS 1st class, with delivery confirmation and insurance, for $3.00. This lacks the detailed tracking you get with FedEx, but is the only option for delivery to a PO box. Please see the first post of this thread for ordering instructions and payment options. |
SVX and WRX harnesses are still available.
|
What if someone wants to put a WRX Radio in an SVX? What plug is needed? :)

I made a batch of the WRX reverse harnesses because the ones sold by the after-market manufacturers only have 13 wires -- they're missing one of the illumination wires, which the WRX radio needs to light up correctly. |
Thanks David. That make sense. :)
|
Any harnesses left? I would like to get one!
