E. TN Meet Cancelled
 

Apologies to any who were planning to come, but I feel it is necessary to cancell the planned E. TN meet, scheduled for June 8-9. Since we had to slip the schedule to be too close to the 10th Anniv. meet, and it didn't look like there would be very many able to come, I've decided it will be better to put all the resourses behind the 10th Anniv. meet and look forward to next year. If anybody wants to show up in Oak Ridge the 8th, we can have an informal get-together, but the official meet is cancelled for this year. Again, my apologies to anyone who was planning to attend.

why not in may?
 

at least some of us locals could show up. maybe you are right. it is a lot of money to spend back to back. see ya next year.

May Meet
 

Normally, the meet would be scheduled for May. However, we ran into some scheduling problems with the weekends that were available. None of them in May were workable. Next year, we'll try for May again. But, like I said, if anyone wants to show up, we can have some kind of informal get together.

Cancellation

I hate that you decided to cancel, but I fully understand the reasons. Everything just before and after "The Big One" is getting eclipsed. There was even talk of canceling "West Virginia III", but I think it is far enough time-wise from Lafayette that it can survive. Our best to Abby....

Yes, me too. But there's too much going on around that time. Also, Earl Duff is going to be doing some remodeling, so we would have to work around that. Between the pressures on my time, the 10th Anniv. meet, and the remodeling, it just seemed the best thing to do.
