different whining noise

werd.
sometimes i get this noise. it comes from the engine bay on the drivers side. it only happens when ive been driving a long time, like over an hour, and with moderate to high accelleration. it wheezes louder as rpms increase. hasnt happened recently as ive been driving like an alaskan grandma in winter the past week.
kinda sounds like air getting sucked into something, almost electrical.

also, one day i decided to be a jackass and brody in some water one night after cruising the strip. to no avail, awd hampered my efforts. but i did manage to hit some bumps and make a new noise come from the right wheel. it only happened on two different days, a couple weeks back. the second day we felt a strong vibration come from the tranny area and a clicking noise from the wheel whilst engaging circular velocital acceleration maneuvers.
ideas?

I have no Idea. Possible guesses: PS pump going south to get warm, :) Air filter loaded up with a scarf for preheating, one of the many air hoses is disconnected from the main 3" large black air inlet pipe, really bad intake manifold vacuum leak.

If you don't mind. What's "brody in some water" mean?

it rained recently and there were a lot of puddles in a fred meyer parking lot so i took advantage of slickery conditions. my xt6 loves those things. my svx doesnt.

im thinking maybe i have a vacuum leak, but only at soaring temperatures and long drives. my filter is usually clean but it does suck hot engine air
