Not with ABS in 1995, the only way you could get it was with the active safety group on the L that included AWD and ABS, or (LSi obviously)

Teenager ?? Are you kidding ?? Obviously insurance is rated differently on your side of the water as there isn't an insurance company in the land over here that would insure a 17 yr old on a 200hp car without a serious four figure premium.

I know colour digital photography can make the shades a little different than what the eye sees, but to my mind that particular car is not Polo, it is Emerald Pearl, a '94 colour.

Polo Green is the lightest green available, that's not it.

Ours was actually in perfect condition body-wise, just has some electrical gremlins that need to be worked out and is due for an engine and tranny rebuild. The previous owner (friend of ours) was going to take it to the junkyard because she was moving to Oregon, so we jumped in and rescued it. :)
