shift module
 

ebay seller has a used shift module for sale.........am tired of pressing down my shift lock to get out of park.......any thoughts, leads on getting a new one on the cheap...I assume pulling my old one out and sticking the new one in is easy.....thanks for any info

All you have to do is remove the center console and replace. It's real easy, hope it works out.

You tested to make sure its your shift module right?? Sometimes a faulty brake pedal switch will do the same thing. Its an easy test, just to be sure that the brake lights do come on when pedal is pressed. Ive seen a few ASE techs fooled with that one lol
