where is this leaking from

Im trying to pinpoint a small leak i have coming from the back of my engine. It could either be my rear main or the seal around my oil pan getting old. all the bolts around my oil pan are moist from oil but after cleaing off the underside of the pan it is clear that it is coming from the back. There is absolutely no oil on the transmission side or the flexplate so thats whats making me believe its not the rear main. I also replaced the rear main 10k miles ago so I hope thats its not the problem.

Could This be my oil pan? also how difficult is it to drop the oil pan, the rear bolts appear to be a little hard to get to.

thanks
jason

It could be your oil pan. When my lagunas was leaking there was oil on the front diff from it oil blowing back while driving. They arent too bad as long as you have a couple swivels and a die grinder to clean the old sealent from the pan. Next time im going to remove the engine mount bolts from the frame and jack the engine up a little for extra wiggle room. while your in there it wouldnt hurt to replace the pickup tube o-ring.
