Best Location For Tranny Cooler ??

I have my B&M tranny Cooler and external filter ready to install, but the question is where ? I have asked a few people and each one gives a different answer. Some say up front, some say on the drivers side, some say horizontal with a fan, others say cut a hole in the plastic guard to let air flow.
Some say tranny, then external filter then radiator then cooler then tranny. Others say NO, tranny, external filter, radiator, cooler then tranny.
Please help, it's the last thing I have to do to finish my car. Tranny is a rebuild by cottman from the previous owner with about 250 miles on it.
I have tried the search but just get more confused. A picture would really help.

If you have a B&M Supercooler, I prefer the parallel method. If you have a 92 or early 93 radiator, it has a fine screen in the cooler inside the radiator that ends to clog. This gives you an alternative fluid flow if the stock one ever clogs.

The other nice thing about their coolers is that ATF flow through these coolers is controlled by viscosity. As the temperature increases, more ATF is directed through the external cooler. This allows the stock cooler to heat the fluid up so the torque converter will lock up in colder weather

Everyone has their preferences. There are series configurations and bypass configutations as well. Check in the Transmission folder of the How-to Documents here:
