Just started up.

When I got back from the store.


I opened the hood before I left to look at stuff. My brand new belt is squealing, and apparently the crank pulley is grinding into the timing cover.
It's not seated properly. My new one was stolen so... yeah.
That could also be the source of the squealing.

Anyways I went under there to poke around and I hear this odd sucking noise coming from the ps pump. Kinda sounds like the air intake, but I've never heard it before, and I swear it's coming from the pump.

I took videos to catch it but you can't really tell. It went on and off, which was odd. After my trip it had for the most part stopped.

I'm going back to Schucks to get an even smaller belt, and Subaru to once again claim a timing cover.
And I'm going to keep observing things now that I have mass quantities of time.

I no longer am employed with Lowe's. Oh darn. :rolleyes:
