My New Backwards Baby
 

Well, I did it. I caved and bought the JDM SVX RHD. I am ready to start a paper route. I have put the pictures in my locker and there is a link below for you to go right to the pictures. It is in need of a good detailing and is DIRTY. I wanted so badly to wash it while I was there, but could not. I drove it and what a blast. Turn signal is on the right side, not left side of steering wheel.

There is going to be some work to get her cleaned up and fixed some. I can do it, but it will be a pleasure. It only has about 49,000 miles on it. :) :)

Backwards, sideways. :confused: Whatever, if you drive your single seater mouse to the bottom of the lists, you will locate those of us who can give you tips on driving the strange machine. ;) :D

I drove it today and it was great. I had to laugh because I started to turn right onto the road and yep, I turned on the wipers. I then used the other one and got the blinker to go. :D :D :D

You are lucky!:D Very nice JDM SVX. Yups that's very dirty SVX though..:) I got used to see very clean SVXs in Japan so this is very strange to see.

If possible, could you do some comparison report between US and JDM SVX in terms of driving, engine sounds, tranny feeling, etc? I don't think there are so many people who has both US and JDM SVX in this planet...

Oh, doesn't also use different octane gas??

Turning on the wipers instead of signals.... always happening when I go back to Japan.:p

Earl, you can swap the wiper / turn signal unit out of a left hand drive car into it, if you want the controls in a more familiar position....I like the steering wheel...looks like mine;)

Very cool! I wonder how people drive the stick rhd cars -- now that would be confusing.

I am going to add some more weight to it by getting the carbon fiber tack ons off. :o They are already coming off and I want it stock. :) Yes, it is the center grill that came on it. :) I think the chrome one would look great though. :D
