It's probably got a bad head gasket :mad:

Could coolant being pushed out of the radiator be anything else?

Is your thermostat functioning properly? Are the fans functioning normally? Did you recently refill the cooling system and trap air in there? Is your radiator cap the original one? Don't jump to head gasket conclusions, there are numerous things that cause the same symptoms.

With the cap off it bubbles over faster when i rev it, so that makes me seriously think head gasket, but I know the thermostat has had issues of late, and the water pump is on its way out. It also doesn't heat up all the way. I might try bleeding it out tomorrow.

It never ends, so it's a damn good thing I'm so in love with this car :p

Troubleshooting the cooling system is time consuming, boring and frustrating. Be patient and consistent with your tests, also read up on the procedure for proper refilling of coolant.

First test: Take out the thermostat and check if it opens at the correct temp by putting it in hot water and measuring the temp as it rises (thermometer needed) or you can simply take the thing out and try the engine without thermostat, if bubbles, then most likely blown gasket...(add coolant -or water for test purposes- with the engine cold and bleed the air from the system)

Yeah, I tried everything I could think of and was told, definitely the head gasket.

It's currently sitting in my garage, completely unhooked and ready to be unbolted and taken out.

I have a feeling that the engine got HOT, and thats why jrturbosvx had it parked. At this point im just hoping that it's not anything more serious :(.

If you want to continue diagnostics lmk, before replacing the head gaskets you should get it tested to verify. They sell kits at autozone or stores like that. They're cheap, unlike head gaskets!

Actually, the gaskets really aren't that much all things considered. The labor is what kills when you have the Head gaskets replaced combined with all of the other stuff that "you might as well do while you're in there".
Also, the kits don't always work with the SVX.

Well I tried everything anybody suggested and all signs pointed to head gaskets. I also had 2 local subie shops look at it and both said head gasket.

I figure since the engine's getting old and it needs a water pump and most likely a timing belt anyway that theres no reason not to. Plus I can get the engine in and out and apart myself without much issue, and plenty of knowledgeable friends to help,so that makes it much less expensive.
